Zebra DS9908 scanner is capable of scanning both barcodes and RFID UHF reading/ writing in a single platform providing an ideal solution for tracking serial numbers, expiration dates and other critical data in blood processing. Users can read multiple RFID-tagged samples in one pass without line of sight.
Designed to survive spills and drops- With IP52 sealing and elevated electronics, accidental spills and dust won’t impact operation. This scanner has a drop resistance of up to 1.5 m drops to concrete and 2,000 consecutive 0.5 m tumbles.
Scan it all with virtually no exemptions including colour-coded labels-The DS9908 can virtually scan any barcode including poorly printers, shiny, faded, dirty and damaged, as well as electronic barcodes on dimply lit displays.
It also features white illumination LEDs that can easily read barcodes on colour-coded specimen trays or biopsy cassettes.
Doubles as a documents scanners - With the single press of the trigger, this scanner can also capture high-resolution images of prescriptions, patient forms and other documents.
Two scanners in one- DS9908 RFID scanner in presentation mode (Hands-free), will limit the scan range to prevent unintentional scanning of nearby items. When the scanner is picked up (Handheld), an aim dot appears and the scan range is automatically extended to reach items on the table or cart.
